- Highlights of the program include:
- Mentoring mathematical minds. This includes:
- Mathematical learning environment.
- Mathematical communication, thinking, and learning (verbal and written)

- Mathematical learning environment.
- Focuses on process over product.
- Includes differentiation in the form of hint cards and think beyond cards.
- Explores real-life problems so students can actively solve them in the same ways that practicing mathematicians do.
- Provides independent work that can be done during their Gen. Ed. period.
- M2 (2nd-4th Grade) / M3 (3rd - 8th Grade)
- Kahn Academy
- This would be used in and outside the classroom. It would allow for independent work inside of the GATE classroom and outside of GATE it would allow for Math work during the General Education math period.
- NWEA MAP scores are entered to meet students' individual needs. Each student's NWEA test scores are entered to generate a customized playlist of math skills.
- This would allow the teacher time to confer one-on-one and meet with any small groups that have similar and specific needs.
