September has arrived and with the excitement of fall comes the curiosity of the year ahead. This week we started to set the scene for the year ahead in the GATE classroom. Students were asked to take part in a few "challenging" activities. The end goal was for students to learn 3 key lessons about their time in GATE this year.
Lastly, a few have asked what supplies they still have from last year or will need for the year ahead. Next week we will send a paper home with the student if there is something they are missing and need for this year. If you have any questions about this feel free to email us. Enjoy your long weekend!

We welcomed our GATE family on Thursday morning! We started off with our routine by connecting, breathing, and praying together. Students had a blast completing the Marshmallow Tower Challenge. They all had jobs and played an important role in completing the task together as a team. So far, the tallest freestanding tower goes to 4th grade at 24"! It was a great morning and amazing to see their little engineer minds at work!
Supplies Reminder: Just a reminder that Bridge to GATE (2nd) & new GATE students need the following supplies whenever possible. Returning students saved theirs from last year.
