Thank you! Thank you to every family for allowing us the opportunity to grow with your wonderful student. We feel so blessed to work with such individuals who bring unique and amazing qualities to our classrooms everyday. We have been blessed to be part of our Bridge to GATE and GATE families. Enjoy the next week with your own families.
Today, students will be bringing home their academic binders. Inside you will find a letter to you (as well as written below) with instructions on the binder. We hope you find it informative and a great communicator with your student. In preparing for these binders we read the book Salt in His Shoes. This book taught students the value of always growing even when you are good at something. In the book Michael Jordan set a goal to always work hard and practice basketball. He did this through trust, practice, and prayer. A few students asked if "needing improvement" and setting a goal meant they got a bad grade. We continue to refer to the story we read about always working to grow our learning even when we have amazing gifts that GOD gave us. The gift of learning is that it has no limit. Continue to communicate this with them at home. As you look through the binders, reach out to us with any questions you may have. Many blessings this Thanksgiving. We thank GOD for the families we get to be a part of through St. Peter everyday. Mrs. Nill & Mrs. Fitzgerald Academic Binders: 21-22 Academic Binder Dear Parents, You are viewing students' academic binders for the 21-22 school year. Their purpose is to communicate with you
These binders will go home four times throughout the year. They are divided into two sections; items that you get to keep and items that remain in the folder. If items are inside the front or back pocket of their binders you get to keep them. If the papers are in page protectors they are to be viewed and kept inside the binder. Once you have read and signed this sheet (Q1: 10/28/21-only) , return this paper with the binder. Binders are due back on Monday, Nov 29, 2021. Do not hesitate to reach out with any questions you have.
