Each week they are assigned a student to write to (we provide a topic but they can add anything extra). We include ourselves in this as well so we can stay in contact with the students. It is a great way to keep students writing in the summer and fun for them to receive mail addressed to them. If interested, email Amber Nill:
3rd-6th Grade: We are opening this back up to all students in grades 3rd-6th grade because so many of loved it in the past. This time you will be writing to students in other grades as well as the teachers. If interested, email Amber Nill:
Summer Engagement We created quick and easy summer engagement activities for all students to participate in. If they complete them they will get an achievement prize in the fall for keeping themselves engaged this summer. We went over the calendar and all the activities today with students. They received a hard copy to take home. You can also find all the packets, links, and information on our website under the Summer Information page. If you and your student decide to participate and you are in grades 3-6 we suggest downloading the packets you will see on the summer page so that you can click on the links. We also made sure to make these activities quick and easy as we know we all have a busy summer. While we do give a calendar to help with organization for the students you can choose to do it in any order that works best for your family. If you need to double on some days you are welcome to. Any questions you have do not hesitate to ask. Just be sure to read the summer information page with all the directions so that you can assist your student when needed. As always we are here. Blessings on your weekend and summer ahead, Mrs. Nill & Mrs. Fitzgerald
